Hong Kong officials are making extensive arrangements in advance to prepare for all public health risks, including that of cross-infection. There will be two doctors and two nurses onboard each of the two flights. All participants will be immediately taken to a quarantine center with a particular transport where they will have to stay for 14 days.

Hong Kong, Guangdong Province, and Shanghai announced on Tuesday that all persons entering their respective jurisdictions will have to undergo a mandatory 14-day quarantine if they have traveled to one of the regions severely affected by the coronavirus. There are severe penalties in place if someone wrongly reports their travel stories. The latest rules apply to all nationalities and aim to avoid the import of new infections and to contain the internal spread of the epidemic.
March 3 – China’s daily reports on Tuesday said there were a total of 80,151 infections and 125 new cases, of which 114 have been confirmed in Hubei. Hubei also recorded all 31 further deaths in the country. The death toll is 2,943. However, 59 percent of those diagnosed have recovered (47,204 people).
