Dubai: UAE residents can expect a warm day with partly cloudy skies, especially in the eastern and southern parts of the country.

According to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), today’s skies will be looking clear to partly cloudy.

There is a chance of convective clouds forming eastwards like in Fujairah and southwards like in Al Ain.

The relative humidity is expected to increase by night and Tuesday morning, especially over northern areas.

There is also going to be an increase in temperatures, which are expected to be in the low to high 40s on average.

Dubai is currently at 35 °C with mostly sunny skies.

Winds are also expected to repeatedly blow, at a speed of 18 – 30 km/h, reaching up to 40 km/h at times.

The winds are expected to blow dust and sand into the air. Drivers should be careful on the road as the dust is expected to hinder horizontal visibility. Those who suffer from allergies should also take precautions when going outside.

The conditions at the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea are expected to be relatively calm.

Even though it will be a warm day in the UAE again, there will be some respite with clouds across the country. The UAE’s National Center of Meteorology, in it’s daily weather forecast said that the weather will be: “Partly cloudy in general to cloudy over some eastern and southern areas with probability of light rainfall.”

While cloudy weather will be seen in most parts of the country, light rainfall is expected in parts of Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Fujairah, Al Dhaid, and Jais Mountains.

A warm breeze is expected through the day, the NCM has forecast “light to moderate Southeasterly to Northeasterly winds, freshening at times causing blowing dust.”

There is an overall decrease in temperature highs across the country. Maximum temperatures in internal areas expected to reach 43-46°C. In the coastal areas, temperature highs will be between 37-42°C, and 34-38°C in the mountainous regions. 

Humidity will be high in the UAE’s coastal and internal areas, hitting 60-90 per cent. In the mountainous regions it will go up to a maximum of 85 per cent.

The sea along the UAE’s coastline will be relatively calm, or “slight to moderate” according to UAE’s weather bureau.

The maximum temperature in the country is expected to be between 45 and 47°C, and the lowest temperature is expected to be between 29-33°C.

In the coastal areas, temperature highs will be between 38-43°C, and 34-38°C in the mountainous regions.

The NCM added, residents can expect, “Light to moderate winds, freshening at times causing blowing dust and sand westwards with a speed of 18 – 28, reaching 40 km/hr.”

The NCM also said that relative humidity is expected to increase by night and Friday morning, especially over coastal and internal areas, causing fog and mist formation.

Humidity will be at 60-85 per cent in the internal areas whereas in the mountainous regions it is expected to be 65-85 per cent.

The sea will be moderate becoming rough at times Westward in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in Oman Sea.
