Dubai: The UAE has launched the region’s largest food campaign to provide more than 100 million meals to the needy during the upcoming Ramadan month.
Announcing the launch of the campaign, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, said: “We will work with humanitarian associations, companies, businessmen and philanthropists in the UAE to send 100 million meals to the needy and the poor as a message of goodness and love during the holy month of Ramadan. Providing food is the best thing that we do during in the month of fasting.”
